The National Capital District Provincial Health Authority (NCDPHA) is proud to announce the successful installation of Starlink Internet Dishes across four major health facilities in Port Moresby, significantly strengthening digital connectivity and operational efficiency.
This project is funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) under the Meri Link Project, aimed at improving access to digital health services, strengthening communication systems, and supporting frontline health workers with reliable internet connectivity.
Facilities that now have Starlink installed:
- Gerehu General Hospital
- 6‑Mile Polyclinic
- Lawes Road Urban Clinic
- Gordon’s Urban Clinic
Reliable internet connectivity is essential for modern healthcare, from patient data management and reporting to telehealth consultations, emergency coordination, and real‑time communication between clinical teams. The installation of Starlink ensures these facilities can operate more efficiently and deliver faster, safer, and more connected services to the communities they serve.
