The National Capital District Provincial Health Authority (NCDPHA) has completed its 5‑day Public Service Induction Training, delivered internally by the Authority’s Human Resource Management Team in Port Moresby. The program brought together new and existing staff for a comprehensive induction covering public service ethics, organisational values, workplace conduct, and the responsibilities expected of officers serving under NCDPHA.

The training concluded with the certification of participants and the swearing of the Public Service Oath, reaffirming each officer’s commitment to serve the people of the National Capital District and the Motu Koitabu villages with professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

The NCD Provincial Health Authority’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Robin Oge, “This induction is more than a requirement it is a foundation for building a capable, confident, and ethically grounded workforce.” He said, “Our staff is entrusted with the health and wellbeing of our communities, and this training ensures they are prepared to uphold the highest standards of public service.”

The Authority remains focused on strengthening its workforce through continuous capacity‑building initiatives, ensuring that all staff are equipped to deliver safe, reliable, and people‑centred health services across NCD.
