
Gerehu General Hospital today proudly received the official handover of its newly renovated Medical Records Office from Pacific Re, marking a significant milestone in strengthening health service delivery for the community.
The renovation project, valued at K32,032, has transformed the Medical Records building into a modern, functional space that will enhance patient data management and improve efficiency across hospital operations.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Dr. Robin Oge, Chief Executive Officer of National Capital District Provincial Health Authority, emphasized the importance of the project:
“This renovation is an investment in the integrity of our health system. Accurate and secure medical records are the backbone of quality healthcare, and we are grateful to Pacific Re for their partnership in ensuring our hospital is better equipped to serve the people of Port Moresby and beyond.”
