
As part of the BSP Community Project under its Corporate Social Responsibility program, the Corporate Banking Division of BSP has donated K26,490 worth of vital medical equipment to Gerehu General Hospital (GGH).
The donation event was held at Gerehu General Hospital, where Mr. Daniel Faunt, Group General Manager – Corporate & Institutional Banking, officially handed over the equipment. The contribution included vital signs monitors supplied by Meddent, as well as clothes and toys donated personally by BSP staff.
Acting Hospital Manager, Dr. Esther Gabut, said, “This donation is a timely boost for our inpatient wards.” She said, “The vital signs monitors will directly support our staff in monitoring patients effectively, while the clothes and toys will bring comfort to those in need.” Dr. Gabut sincerely thanked BSP Corporate Banking Division for their generosity and commitment to community health.
The National Capital District Provincial Health Authority’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Robin Oge, commended the partnership and highlighted the importance of corporate support in strengthening health services in National Capital District and Motu Koitabu Communities.
Dr Oge said, “Health facilities rely on partnerships to deliver quality care.” He said, “BSP’s contribution demonstrates the positive impact that can be achieved when corporate organizations work together with health authorities.” Dr. Oge further emphasized that this donation will enhance patient care and reflects a shared responsibility to improve health outcomes for our communities.
The event was attended by senior BSP managers, including Mr. Ovia Oa, Head of Corporate Projects, Ms. Sandra Fore, Head of Transaction Banking, Ms. Jemimah Nui, and the dedicated staff of the BSP Corporate team.
The NCDPHA’s management acknowledges BSP Corporate Banking Division for their ongoing commitment to supporting health services in the National Capital District and Motu Kota Communities.
