The National Capital District Provincial Health Authority (NCD-PHA) convened its quarterly Board of Governance meeting last Friday under the chairmanship of Mr. Daniel Waswas.
The meeting brought together board members and senior executives to deliberate on governance matters, review ongoing programs, and strengthen oversight of health service delivery across the province.
A key outcome was the Board’s endorsement of two landmark documents for official launch:
- Strategic Health Services Development Plan (2027–2031, Volumes 1 & 2)
- Corporate Plan (2027–2031)
Chairman Waswas emphasized accountability, transparency, and collaboration as vital to meeting community health needs. He commended the collective efforts of the Board, management, and partners in driving innovation and inclusive growth.
The approved plans will guide NCD-PHA’s priorities over the next ten years, aligning with national health policies and ensuring sustainable, accessible, and quality health services for all residents of the National Capital District and Motu Koita communities.
The meeting concluded with resolutions reinforcing governance structures and advancing NCD-PHA’s mission to build a healthier, more resilient capital city.
