The NCD Provincial Health Authority’s management is continuing to upskill its clinical staff though its participation in the Basic Emergency Care (BEC) training. Second batch of healthcare professionals from NCD PHA have completed the BEC training that is sponsored by Sir Brian Bell Foundation (SBBF).

The trainers from the National St. Johns Ambulance and Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH) have imparted valuable skills and knowledge to the participants. The four days training is very vital to equip the clinical staff with the knowledge to handle any form of emergencies at their clinic first-hand before seeking secondary treatment.

The NCD PHA’s management is very dedicated in upskilling its staff with new skills and knowledge in order to provide effective health care services in the National Capital District.
