THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS HAVE DONATED 1,000 HYGIENE & SANITARY KITS TO GEREHU GENERAL HOSPITAL

The Church of Latter-day saints has donated 1, 000 kits to Gerehu General Hospital. The hygiene and sanitary kits contain:

 • Colgate & toothpaste

 • Bath Soap 

 • Shampoo 

 • Sanitary pads 

 The Director for Medical Services at Gerehu General Hospital Dr. Jerry Tanumei has acknowledged Mr. Bret Curtis Dandoy and Kimie Doadoy and the rest of the staff of Latter Day Saints for the generous donation on behalf of the management of Gerehu General Hospital. 

 “Latter Day Saints has been a very good partner to NCD PHA and has been contributing to the infrastructure developments at Gerehu and other NCDPHA’s managed clinics in Port Moresby.” 

 The district President of Gerehu area Mr. Paigere said that the donation is part of the Humanitarian support from latter day saints with the support from Non-Government Organization (NGOs’). The church is always on the look out to support the Humanitarian effort.

 “Due to an upcoming young single adult convention, the young adults are organizing and delivering the Hygiene and sanitary kits as part of the service projects.

” The Chief Executive Officer for National Capital District Provincial Health Authority (NCD PHA) Dr. Robin Oge acknowledged the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for their ongoing support in health service delivery in the National Capital District. 

 The boards and management of NCD PHA will continue to work with the Latter-Day Saints to continue delivering the basic health services to the residents of Port Moresby.
