The NCD Provincial Health Authority and Wonkwang University of the Republic of Korea has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly promote the training of Health professionals, research and development, Medical Services, and industrial advancement in the field of health, biomedical sciences, and Korean medicine. The focus of the cooperation is to improve Public Health and strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
The Vice President for Academic Affairs at Wonkwang University Prof. Jin-Soo Hwang has officially signed the 3 years MOU with NCD PHA’s Chief Executive Officer Dr. Robin Oge. Through this cooperation the Wonkwang University and NCD PHA will work in the following areas: Human Resource Development, Medical Research and Technology Cooperation, Healthcare Infrastructure Development, Policy and Institutional Support, and Sports and Youth Exchange.
The working relations between NCD PHA and Wonkwang University will result in the improvement of the public health services in the National Capital District. The NCD PHA’s Boards and the Senior Executive Management team have acknowledged this cooperation and look forward to working with Wonkwang University for the next three (3) years.
The Chief Executive Officer for NCD PHA Dr. Robin Oge also acknowledged Prof. Jin Soo Hwang and his team for their effort in partnering with NCD Provincial Health Authority. “The Boards and Management of NCD PHA is excited to work with Wonkwang University,” said Dr. Oge. The Management primary goal is to provide better health care services in the National Capital District through partnership and cooperation.
