NATIONAL CAPITAL DISTRICT PROVINCIAL HEALTH AUTHORITY IS PARTNERING WITH NCDC AND FILIPINO ASSOCIATION OF PNG TO GIVE FREE MEDICAL CHECKS

The NCD Provincial Health Authority and National Capital District Commission (NCDC) is partnering with the Filipino Association of Papua New Guinea to give free Medical Checkups at Sir John Guise Stadium on Sunday 27 July 2025.

The President of Filipino Association of Papua New Guinea Mr. Jonathan Piasaba said, this medical outreach program symbolizes compassion, partnership, and a shared commitment to the wellbeing of the people.

Mr. Paisaba said, “FAPNG is doing the free medical checkups as part their celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and PNG.

“The check-up will include medical consultations, treatments, HIV awareness and other services, particularly to those in need and with limited access to health care, he said.

The Governor of NCD Hon. Powes Parkop has welcomed the initiative and pledged to provide necessary support including security on that day.

FAPNG Vice President Arne Alfajardo outlined the program for the day stating that, they will start at 9 am and finish at 3 pm.

NCDPHA Chief Executive Officer Dr. Robin Oge has expressed his gratitude to the team and pledged their full support towards the team.

“These are events where we can diagnose, heart disease, lifestyle disease, and provide health awareness. We will give our full support,” Dr. Oge said.

The management of NCD Provincial Health Authority is fully committed in providing better health services in NCD through partnership and collaboration.
