Speaking at the training, Dr. Amos Lano, Director for Public Health Services, emphasized the importance of strengthening frontline capacity:
“Immunization remains one of the most effective public health interventions. By refreshing our staff’s knowledge and skills, we are ensuring that every child and family in Port Moresby has access to safe and timely vaccines.”
Dr. Robin Oge, CEO of NCDPHA, commended the commitment of the participants and highlighted the Authority’s vision:
“This training reflects our dedication to improving health outcomes in the National Capital District. We want our facilities to deliver consistent, high-quality immunization services that protect communities from preventable diseases.”
