
The frontline health workers of National Capital District Provincial Health Authority (NCDPHA) have gained valuable skills on Basic Emergency Care (BEC). The training was fascinated by the National St. John Ambulance and Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH) staff through the sponsorship of Sir Brian Bell Foundation SBBF) project and community engagement initiative to upskill clinicians in National Capital District (NCD).
Clinicians are gaining valuable Emergency Response Skill that will enable them to respond to emergencies at the Clinic and hospital swiftly with ease and confidence through the training.
The focus of this four days training is to increase workforce and strengthen frontline healthcare workers’ ability to manage traumatic and medical emergencies effectively and save lives.
The NCD Provincial Health Authority’s management has acknowledged Sir Brian Bell Foundation (SBBF) for sponsoring this very important training to help build the workforce of NCDPHA.
The Chief Executive Officer for NCD PHA Dr. Robin Oge, also recognized and acknowledged the National St. John Ambulance and Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH) staff for facilitating the training and imparting lifesaving skill to NCD PHA’s staff.
